The Center for Holistic Dermatology is dedicated to the practice of alternative medicine for the treatment of dermatologic diseases. It is a branch of Bucks Dermatology Associates, PC.Bucks Dermatology Associates, PC. is a well-established practice of general dermatology founded in 1991. This practice was founded by Drs. Richard and Sandra Wortzel, and is composed of three Dermatologists, a Mohs' Dermatologic Surgeon, a Plastic Surgeon, as well as a Physician's Assistant and Medical Aesthetician. Dr. Richard Wortzel is a Board Certified Dermatologist, and specializes in the practice of Holistic Dermatology.
Richard D.Wortzel, MD,PhD attended college at Johns Hopkins University where he received a degree in Natural Sciences. He then studied at the University of Chicago where he received his medical degree and a doctorate in Immunology. He attended Yale University as an intern in Internal Medicine. Dr. Wortzel then studied Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania.Dr. Wortzel is currently Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol, PA, and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Wortzel studied Ayurvedic Medicine at the Maharishi College of Vedic Medicine. He has attended multiple conferences and seminars in Holistic Medicine and Holistic Dermatology. Dr. Wortzel is committed to expanding our knowledge of Holistic Dermatology through his practice of medicine, clinical research and teaching. |
